Steak and Seafood: Oscars is a steak and seafood restaurant in the middle of a cow pasture, kinda neat. Niceatmosphere good food, has a bar and karaoke on Thurs, and Fri nights. Closed on Sun and Mon. Servers need a little sprucing up but overall good.

Oscar's is an exellent restaurant. Lots of variety and great service. Little did we know, our server is also headed for stardom. She sang the second night we went (yes, went twice). I feel I have been in the presence of greatness. Youtube search Stubby's Pub and listen to Tara Coe and you'll see what I mean. She is phenominal. She was an excellent server, but with her set of pipes has no business waiting tables for a living.

You could do worse in Warm Springs. Really tasty fried oyster. Not greasy with a light crunchy crust and moist oyster interior. Fried fish, shrimp and scallops are also tasty, but not as good as the oysters. Staff is very cautious cooking steaks; the other night my mother ordered a strip steak medium done and it came out cold and practically mooing. She sent it back and it reappeared in a much more satisfactory condition. Prices are decent for a tourist location and the wine and beer selection are very good by Meriwether County standards.

Oscar's Steak & Seafood has fine steaks! Finding Bulloch House closed on a Thursday evening, my wife and I were directed to Oscar's and it turned out to be a great stroke of luck. We shared a thick 14-ounce ribeye (it actually probably weighed well over a pound) that was as tender and tasty as any we've enjoyed anywhere. We were so impressed we returned the next evening for the very same steak. The service on both evenings was warm and attentive. Oscar's is a mile or so from the Little White House entrance, in the middle (literally) of a cow pasture, so you may have an opportunity to view your beef as you arrive. There is a bar adjacent to the dining room, accessible through a door, and they do advertise karaoke on weekends, but when we left at 7:45 p.m. on Friday both were still quiet and very pleasant. Highly recommended.

I can't believe this is rated Child-Friendly!! Oscar's is the place where the locals go to drink and sing karaoke. It is pretty popular for that, and the food is ok. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere, between Warm Springs and Shiloh, or the turnoff to 190 going to Pine Mountain. I wouldn't bother stopping if I were a tourist, and DEFINITELY not with kids!!
